As a driver, you are responsible for transporting various loads to customers and distribution points. You ensure that the cargo reaches its destination safely and efficiently while adhering to driving time regulations and traffic laws. You will be involved in the loading and unloading of the truck. It's essential to secure the cargo properly to ensure safe transportation. Together with the logistics department, you will determine the most efficient routes to arrive at customers on time. You will also take potential delays, such as traffic jams, into account and carefully plan rest breaks to ensure safe driving while complying with legal driving hours.

An important part of your role is checking and maintaining transport documents, such as waybills. While delivering goods, you will have direct contact with customers. You will maintain a friendly and professional attitude and be willing to answer questions or resolve minor issues on-site. You serve as the company's representative on the road and at customer locations, contributing to maintaining good relationships with our clients.

In this full-time position, you will work 40 hours per week, spread over 5 days, starting at 8:00 AM and ending at 5:00 PM. We work exclusively on-site, as—unfortunately—moving boxes via remote work hasn’t been invented yet. Fortunately, you'll be part of a team of 15 dedicated colleagues who know exactly how to keep operations running smoothly.

Functie-eisen

You have previous experience as a driver, are physically fit, and can work well independently. You speak Dutch, English, or Turkish.

In return, you will receive a salary ranging from €2,370 to €2,750 per month, depending on your experience. Overtime is compensated at 130%, and if you work on weekends, you’ll be rewarded with a 150% bonus. Personal time is valued, with 24 vacation days per year, 3.5 additional leave days (ATV), and a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer. Plus, there’s always a nice company jacket waiting for you. For your trips to clients, you’ll have access to a company truck or van—no worries, you don’t have to take it home. 😉
